We care about the needs and rights of not just our clients, but other roofing companies as well. For this reason, Roofing Washington DC is prepping up (yes, months earlier) to join the Roofing Day in DC 2019.
The National Roofing Contractors Association plans to hold the gathering of different roofing industries at Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill; from April 3-4, 2019.
All About Roofing Day in DC 2019
April 3-4 is your chance to join in along with other fellow roofing industry professional in Washington DC. We’re taking our message to Capitol Hill after a new Congress has been elected. And this means we need to gather and let Congress see and hear about some very critical issues facing our companies.
With one voice, the roofing industry must speak out. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to create a difference in your business and the roofing industry, as a whole.
What to expect
Roofing Day in DC 2019 will have participants advocating in support of these issues, according to National Roofing Contractors Association themselves:
- A robust buildings component for infrastructure legislation
- Immigration reform that meets the roofing industry workforce needs
- Expanded workforce training incentives
It’s important that Congress hears from us company owners and managers. Not only them but also from frontline workers. What’s more?
The NRCA is also introducing a special registration rate of $25 per person for roof system installers, and $75 per person for company representatives. So, bring your standout crew members if they can, so we can share the industry’s story altogether.
NRCA claims that Congress needs to hear all the segments of the industry, and has provided a registration form.
Our team at Roofing Washington DC is definitely joining — in the name of better roofing services in the future in our own company.
